Watching Youtube videos on Google TV, XBox and PS3

Watching Youtube videos on Google TV, XBox and PS3

The latest update from Youtube for iOS lets you watch and control the videos on the Google TV, XBox and PS3 with your iPhone or iPad. It even allows the users on your same Wi-Fi connection to join in to control the video and/or add videos to the existing playlist.
The update also allows you to  you to record and upload videos using YouTube Capture. YouTube Capture was introduced by Google in December last year. YouTube Capture lets you record videos as soon as you open it, and once you are done filming, you can add a caption, select the audience you want to share it with and then hit Share. The video will then be uploaded in the background.

As of now the App only supports Google TV but its worth checking out.

Check out the Youtube page to see how it works. YouTube's Google+ page has stated that the app will support more TVs in the future, including LG, Sony, Panasonic and others.

This move along with the launch of Apple TV will converge the two mediums of TV and Internet together.  The attempt to merge the two has already been made by several TV manufacturers like Samsung, LG etc. but they haven't been able to make it a USP as of today.

But in days to come the medium of entertainment will be based on something like Google TV and Apple TV.  So watch out, future beckons
