With the Samsung's latest launch Galaxy S IV selling like hot cakes around the world, the mobile giant has now announced a S IV zoom version of the phone to cash in on the success of its flagship product and give the users a new camera experience.
First thing to understood is that this just a camera enhanced version of the Galaxy S IV smartphone and has been named by Samsung as Samsung Galaxy S4 zoom. If you keep that in mind, the camera features are very very impressive. The Galaxy S IV zoom will have a 10x optical zoom, 16MP CMOS Sensor, OIS and Xenon flash. The smartphone is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor and is fuelled by a 2330 mAh battery.
IF that was not enough, Samsung has put some really fascinating features in the S IV zoom. The smart phone has a built in feature called Zoom Ring. This Zoom Ring is a all in one camera App. When you are talking on this smart phone with somebody and you see something which you want to share with your mate who is speaking to you, a quick twist of the Zoom Ring will activate the In-Call Photo Share feature that allows you to capture and send an image directly via MMS to whoever you are talking to. In addition to that, the Zoom Ring can be used to activate the Quick Launch and Shortcut features for access to multiple camera modes including Auto, Gallery and Smart Mode.
And as I have written above the smart phone will have 10x optical zoom and 16MP BSI CMOS sensor which will let you capture images from far away or portraits in all light conditions. Samsung has even claimed that the built-in Optical Image Stabilizer (OIS) helps keep the camera perfectly still even when you’re not, reducing blur and stabilising the image while zoomed in for good quality photos and video.
The Photo Suggest feature connects users to huge libraries of images taken by fellow photographers, to help them find and compose their best shots anywhere in the world. Photo Suggest can even direct users to the ideal nearby location, which will give them the best position to capture that vintage image.

Sounds impressive doesn't it, don't the price will also be as impressive costing upto Rs.50000.00 in Indian markets. Having said that this is a phone, I had written about way back on the mobile and camera convergence. Though not a total Camphone it is the nearest one in the market yet.
