Viewers will recall my earlier post regarding whatsapp services were not working in Mumbai. It seems they were down all over and as per the twitter message posted by whatsapp around 13 hours ago the services have fully been restored.
However, the favourites in my whatsapp are missing and the refreshing seems to be failing. Hope Whatsapp fixes that soon. Another interesting thing I and my colleague noticed during the service down period was that if I edited the image and inserted a text in it, saving and sending that message the message was delivered. Odd but interesting. Whatsapp guys can tell us why this happened. I will be tweeting them the same and will post their answer here.
I have simple question for Whatsapp. Will they go Instagram way and try to monetize our images. I hope not because I simply love Whatsapp for its simple UI and superb delivery platform. The WhatsApp in the meantime has gone ahead and launched its native App for Android ICS, read about it here.
