All the while we blogger tend to focus on adult people. We all tend to think that the reader is a adult man or woman, and often forget that he or she may have a little one at home. More often than not you go home and your lil' one will surely reach for your smart phone. Or when the young one is crying, smart phone is one of your best chances of soothing and calming the tot. So today I present to you the Apps available in the market for young ones from ages to 2 to 5. These Apps not only soothe them but they also can be used to teach small little things which we probably learnt when we were in School.
Before starting the post I would like my readers to kindly let your young child use your smart phone. I have seen many parents scold their children if they use their phone. You can always buy a new phone but you can't buy a child, the innocence and its childhood.
The first App is called Blue Hat, Green Hat - Boynton. This one is available for iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Android, Kindle Fire and Barnes & Nobles Nook.

This App is available for $3.99 (Rs.219 to 227 on different stores and suitable for kids from age 2 to 4.
This is a interactive book App which has been illustrated and written by Sandra Boynton. It is so funny that your child is sure to enjoy this one. The story line has three animals and one turkey learn colours and clothes and the turkey never learns it. It is really a illustrated story book meant to make your child happy.

The next one is Beck and Bo. This App is available only for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch. It is priced at $1.99 (Rs.110.00). This is also a interactive game with a girl named Beck and little boy name Bo. The two go on 12 adventures with your child.
This App teaches young ones how to touch and drag objects to make beautiful scenes. Each themed adventure is filled with objects that float down into scene and the child has to just move them to the appropriate places in the picture. For example, in the scene filled with rescue vehicle, a spot light appears which your child must move to the top of the pole so it can start running. When they touch the green light, all the vehicles start moving. The App subconsicously teaches your child the traffic rules.

The next one is only available for iPad users. It is called In My Dream and has been getting rave reviews for its content. It is priced at $4.99 (Rs.275.00) . It is a interactive game based on story and illustration by Stephane Kiehl. It is so good, the publishers e-Toile editions must publish it on other platforms also. This one has won many top awards.

The next one is Wheels on the Bus and is available for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch with a HD version available for Android and iPad. The iPhone version is for $0.99 (Rs.55.00) and HD version is for $1.99 (Rs.110.00). This App is from Duck Duck Moose and is best for agest 2 to 5
This is a interactive song App which lets your child interact with everything on the screen. They can make the doors 'open and close' or make the wind shield wipers go 'swish swish swish' This one is for the future creative legends.
