Android 4.1 and above users with NFC phones, send your files with File Beam

Android 4.1 and above users with NFC phones, send your files with File Beam
There are ways to send your file, image, music, video or APK across to your friends, like Wi-Fi direct, Email or third party Apps like Dropbox, Mediafire etc., but each have their own limitations.  Mohammad Abu-Garbeyyeh from the XDA Developers Forums has developed a App which has no limitations for sending any file.  The App is called File Beam and requires Android 4.1 and up and a NFC compliant device.

Android 4.1 and above users with NFC can now send any type of file of any size across to their friends with this new App.  Please note that the App uses NFC to do the initial pairing and then sends the file through the Bluetooth.  You can also use this App to send files to the NFC compliant Nokia phone users.  Further there is no Icon for this App, you just have to send it by tapping the share button in any of your favourite apps.

Note : File Manager https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.openintents.filemanager recommended for sending arbitrary files)

If you like the App download it here from Google Play.

The App has been tested over the following phones
- Samsung Galaxy Note II (GT-N7100)
- Samsung Galaxy SIII (GT-i9300)
- Nexus 7 (grouper)
- Nokia N9 (RM-696) (Only as a receiver)

Kindly leave your comments on this App.
