New Search Widget for Blogger, Wordpress and others

Want to put a elegant popup search window on your Blog, Searchpath has arrived.  Search is a distinct feature for all blogs.  Especially those ones which have over 200+ blog pages.  So far we have had only Google.  Though Google is useful, its rendition is far from aesthetic.  To bring some usefulness to this space, Riverfold Software founder Manton Reece created Searchpath, a basic search tool for sites and blogs, featuring what Reece calls “an innovative ‘popover’ UI.”

The engine is simple with a one line Java script tag which is like the one below:
1
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://js.searchpath.io/v1/yoursite.com?verify=##########"></script>

The Popup looks good on the Blog, I tried one.  The results I got were the searches I had entered in Google. The codes need heavy duty customization.   However the tool is still new and is yet to get into the hands of hard core developers like you people and soon all blogs will carry the searchpath. The result window looks like this :
search Searchpath lets you quickly embed an elegant, popover search box on your site

Though the paid version is costly $8.00 per month, there is a trial version which gives two results per query.  Give it a try here, the signup and process is simple.  I have asked my developer friend to give it a try.

Please post your comments on this new search widget.
