Many of my friends and readers who have downloaded the Windows 8 as their operating system or purchased the latest laptops are sure to miss the 'Start' button in all of the Windows predecessors. Without the start button, accessing the Control Panel becomes quite tricky. Not any more.
Once you have found it out and use the same regularly, you can pin it to your Start Menu. For this open the Control Panel, move up a level in the folder hierarchy, right click on the Control Panel icon, and choose Pin to Start. Other way around is to search for the term 'Control Panel' in the search tile.
Second one is pressing Windows keys + I. This opens the Settings menu on the right edge of the screen, with the Control Panel among the group.
Third one is the most easiest of them all, press Windows key + R, this will open the Run key we are all familiar with. Type Control Panel in it and you are done.
